Bean Sauce and Spareribs Steam Recipe:
This steamed spareribs recipe is easy, healthy, and delicious! It is wonderful served over rice, and can be made as hot or mild as you wish.
Perp time: 30-60 minutes
Cook time: 15-20 minutes
Utensils:
Pot, bowl.
Serves 3 as a side dish of a big meal,or makes a main meal for 2 when served over steamed rice or noodles.
Ingredients:
7 oz./200g spareribs, chopped into 1-inch pieces (P1)2 slices fresh ginger, cut into thin strips2 garlic cloves, sliced1 tbsp.ground black pepper2 tbsps.light soy sauce1 tbsp.Shao-Hsing rice wine or dry sherry1 tbsp.rice vinegar2 tbsps.bean sauce1 tsp.salt, or to taste1/3 cup cornstarch

Directions:
1. In a bowl, gently combine spareribs with all the ingredients, mix well and let marinate for about 30-60 minutes (P2).
P22. Bring a large pot of water to a boil, then put on the basket and set the bowl on it, cover and steam until done.3. When cooked, remove from the pot, let cool for 10 minutes before serve (P3), you can serve with steamed rice or noodles as you wish.
