Beef Stew with Radish Recipe

Beef Stew with Radish Recipe:
A slow-cooked beef stew - beef and radish are gently simmered in a combination of spice and seasonings, beef becomes incredibly tender. The perfect dish for a party.
 
Prep time: 5 minutes
Total time: 20 minutes
 
Utensils:
Wok, clay pot, bowl, plate.
 
Serves 2 as a main dish.
 
Ingredients:
5 oz./ 150g beef tenderloin, cut into small chunks, about 1-inch length
5 oz./ 150g radish, cut according to P1
4 garlic colves, sliced
4 slices ginger root
1/2 stalk scallion, cut into 1-inch sections
3 star ainse
3 chilis, diced
2 tbsps.vegetable oil for stir-frying

Directions:

1. Preheat a wok over medium heat, add 2 tbsps.vegetable oil, drizzle the oil so it coats both the sides and the bottom of the wok, add garlic, ginger, chilis, and star anise when the oil is hot, saute briefly until aromatic, about 30 seconds (P2).

2. Place beef tenderloin in the wok, stir fry over medium heat for 3-5 minutes.

3. Add radish back when the beef is nearly cooked (P3).

4. Cook for a while, then transfer all of them to a warmed clay pot to finish until done to your liking (P4).

5. Serve as is or ladle into warmed bowls (P5).
