Egg Beef Roll Recipe:
If you are a Spring Roll or Egg Roll lover, then you have to try this Egg Beef Roll. It is easy to learn, and only takes a few minutes to do.
 
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 8 minutes
 
Utensils:
Wok, plate.
 
Serves 2 as a side dish
 
Ingredients:
4 hard-boiled eggs, peeled
5 oz./150g beef, cut into 1/8-inch thick slices that are 3-inches long (P1)
2 tbsps.vegetable oil for pan-frying
1/3 cup water

Seasonings:
1 tbsp.light soy sauce
1 tbsp.brown sugar
Directions:
1. Wrap 2 beef slices around each egg tightly according to P2.

2. Heat 2 tbsps.vegetable oil in a wok on high heat, when the oil is hot, pan-fry egg beef rolls over medium heat, wrinkled and lightly browned through, which will take about 5 minutes (P3).

3. Add 1 tbsp.light soy sauce, 1 tbsp.brown sugar and 1/3 cup water, stirring and tossing continually, ensures that sauce covers egg beef rolls evenly, then reduce heat to low, simmer until the sauce thickens and is nearly reduced.
4. Remove to a plate and serve hot (P4).
