Oyster Sauce Beef Stir-fry Recipe:


The unique way to enjoy beef – juicy oyster sauce beef stir-fry recipe, which only needs a couple of easy-to-prep ingredients, and less than 10 minutes cooking time.

Utensils:


Pot, wok, bowl, plate.


Serves 2
Ingredients:


200 g / 7 oz. beef, cut into thin strips
5 stalks Chinese broccoli
1 tbsp.chopped scallion
3 slices ginger
1 tbsp. oyster sauce
1 tbsp. white sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch


Marinade:


1 tbsp. rice wine, or dry sherry
1 tbsp. oyster sauce
1 tbsp. black pepper powder
1 tbsp.white sugar
1 tbsp. minced ginger


Directions:


1. Mix the beef and the marinade in a bowl, let marinate for about 30 minutes (P1).

2. Bring a pot of water to a boil, add pinch of salt, and 1 tbsp. vegetable oil, blanch the Chinese broccoli for about 1-2 minutes, drain well and remove to cold water, drain well, cut into sections, and remove to a plate (P2).

3. Make sauce in a bowl, mix 1 tbsp. oyster sauce, 1 tbsp. white sugar, and 1 tbsp. cornstarch together.


4. Preheat a wok over high for 1 minute before you add 2 tbsps.vegetable oil, then add beef back, stir fry over high heat for about 2 minutes, then remove the beef to a plate (P3).

5. Saute chopped scallion, and ginger slices with the remaing oil in the wok, about 30 seconds, do not brown, swirl into the sauce, bring to a boil.


6. Put the beef back, stir fry over high heat for 3 - 4 minutes until done (P4).

7. Serve on a plate (P5).
