Sesame Seeds Beef Pie Recipe

This recipe combines 3 family favorites-beef, mushrooms, and sesame seeds-for an easy, delicious dish, it is best enjoyed medium-rare, like any great recipes, and the spicy crust is perfect with the fragrant beef.
Oven, bowl, plate.
7 oz./200g ground beef4 dried black mushrooms1 tbsp.chopped scallion1 tbsp.ground ginger root1 beaten egg, whisked lightly2 tbsps.sesame seeds

1 tbsp.chili powder1 tbsp.Shao-Hsing rice wine, or dry sherry
1. Soften the dried black mushrooms by soaking in warm water for 20 minutes, trim off stems and squeeze out the excess water and cut into small pieces.
2. Mix the ground beef, black mushroom cubes, chopped scallion, ground ginger, whisked egg, and Shao-Hsing rice wine together in a bowl, then spread on the baking try according to P2.
P23. Top with a sprinkling of chili powder, then a layer of sesame seeds over it (P3).
P34. Preheat the oven to 350 degree F, bake 10 minutes, or until completely cooked through (P4).
P45. Remove from the oven to a plate, cut into squares, about 1-inch length, let cool 5 minutes before serving (P5).
