Spicy Grilled Beef Recipe

Spicy Grilled Beef Recipe:
This is an easy, but impressive beef dish. The tangy beef and tasty sauce works so well with the subtle smokeness from the grill.
Prep time: 5 hours
Cook time: 40 minutes
 
Utensils:
Grill, bowl, serving plate.
 
Serves 3
 
Ingredients:
14 oz./400g beef
2 tbsps.chili paste
2 tbsps.light soy sauce
2 tbsps.Shao-Hsing rice wine, or dry sherry
2 tbsps.granulated sugar
2 tbsps.toasted sesame seeds
Vegetable oil, as needed for grill
Directions:
1. Rinse beef well, cut into strips, then combine with all the ingredients together in a bowl, marinate for 5 hours ahead of time (P1).

2. Preheat the grill on medium heat, when hot, lightly oil, then lay the beef strips out on it (P2), cook about 20 minutes, and turn over, brushing oil over the cooked side, grill 20 minutes more, or until desired doneness is reached (P3).

3. Slice well and arrange neatly on a serving plate afterwards. Serve with any glaze if desired, optionally with a sprinkling of toasted sesame seeds (P4).
