If you are a chicken lover, and you enjoys drinking beer, why do not you give this beer-scented chicken recipe a try? Here the chicken is full flavored with beer, as well as soft in texture.

Prep time: 20 minutes
Cook time: 20 minutes
Utensils:
Wok, mixing bowl, plate.
Serves 2-3
Ingredients:
500 g / 18 oz. chicken
2 slices ginger, minced
1/2 onion, skinned, sliced thin (P1)
2 stalks cilantro, rinse well
2 tbsps.light soy sauce
2 cups beer
1 tbsp.salt, or to taste
2 tbsps.vegetable oil for stir-frying
Slice onion into thin

Directions:

1. Rinse the chicken well through cold running water, then chop into chunks, about 1-inch length, put into a big mixing bowl, marinated with 2 tbsps.light soy sauce, and 1 tbsp.salt for about 20 minutes.


2. Preheat a wok over medium high heat for about 30 seconds, then add 2 tbsps.vegetable oil, heat till hot, saute ginger and onion slices until aromatic, put back chicken into the wok, continue to cook until white (P2).

Add chicken, cook until white

3. Pour into 1 cups beer, bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to simmer with the lid on for another 15 minutes (P3).

Simmer for 15 minutes, or until cooked

4. Sprinkle with cilantro before serving on a plate (P4).
