Chicken Wings with Green Pepper Stir-fry Recipe

Chicken Wings with Green Pepper Stir-fry Recipe:
A stir fry with chicken wings, green pepper, chilis, and bean sauce, its popularity has never faded. Also is a perfect meal for a great party.
 
Prep time: 15 minutes
Total time: 25 minutes
 
Utensils:
Wok, bowl, plate.
 
Serves 2 as a main meal.
 
Ingredients:
5 chicken wings
1 green pepper, sliced
5 chilis, diced
1 star anise
2 bay leaves
2 cinnamons
1 tbsp.bean sauce
1 tbsp.peppercorns
2 tbsps.light soy sauce
1 tbsp.white rice wine
1 tbsp.white sugar
1 tsp.salt, or to taste
2 tbsps.vegetable oil for stir-frying
Directions:

1. Rinse the chicken wings thoroughly through running water, drain well and cut into sections.

2. In a bowl, season the chicken wings with diced chili, peppercorns, 1 tbsp.light soy sauce, and 1 tbsp. white rice wine, mix them well and let marinate for about 15 minutes (P1).

3. Preheat a wok over medium heat, about 30 seconds, then add 2 tbsps.vegetable oil, swirl to coat the surface of the wok, when hot, saute 1 tbsp.bean sauce briefly until aromatic, about 30 seconds (P2).

4. Add the chicken wings, cook over medium heat, until lightly browned on bothsides, which will take about 3 minutes. Then add 1 star anise, 2 bay leaves, 2 cinnamons, 1 tbsp.light soy sauce and 1 tbsp.white sugar, stir until thoroughly combined (P3).

5. Add green pepper slices when the chicken wings are nearly cooked, keep cooking until the pepper slices turn soft (P4).

6. Remove from the wok to a plate, serve hot (P5).
