Pekin Duck with Celery Recipe

Pekin Duck with Celery Recipe:

If you love Pekin duck, then you should try this deliciously different Pekin duck with celery dish, which features a great contrast between the crispy celery and the juicy duck.

 

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 15 minutes

 

Utensils:

Pot, bowl, plate.

 

Serves 2 as a side dish.

Ingredients:
1/2 Pekin Duck
3 stalks celery
1 tsp.minced garlic cloves
Seasonings:
1 tbsp.oyster sauce
1 tsp.granulated sugar
1 tbsp.sesame oil

Directions:

1. Slice the Pekin Duck according to P1.

2. Cut the celery diagonally into 1-inch length.

3. Put a large pot of water on to boil, blanch the celery until colour turns out jade green (About 30 seconds), drain well in a colander and put into a bowl of cold water to stop cooking.

4. Add 1 tsp.minced garlic cloves and all the seasonings In a bowl, stirring to mix everything together.

5. Lay the celery on the bottom of the serving plate, place the Pekin Duck strips over them, Spoon over the sauce over them lightly before serving.
