Peanut Candy Recipe

Peanut Candy Recipe:

If you are a peanut lover, then you have to try this peanut candy. You will need both hands to eat up this amazing dessert at one sitting.

 

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 20 minutes

 

Utensils:

Wok, rolling pole, spatula, spoon, bowl.

 

Serves 3

 

Ingredients:
35 oz./1000 g peanut kernels
26 oz./750 g sugar
7 oz./200 g peanut oil
17 oz./500 g malt sugar
7 oz./200 g sesame seeds
Proper quantity of shredded coconut stuffing
Directions:
1. Rinse the peanut kernels well before cooking.
2. Heat 2 tbsps.peanut oil in a wok, add peanut kernels and stir fry until golden, drain well in a colander, remove to a board, mash them into small pieces with a rolling pole.
3. In a wok, heat 5 tbsps.peanut oil until smoking, add sugar, malt sugar, and 3 cups water, then reduce to low heat, keep cooking until the sugar melts and color turns golden (P1). Add the peanut kernels back into the wok, stirring occasionally, continue to cook for a further 1 minute (P2).

4. Add some sesame seeds into the wok in question (P3). Stir to mix everything together (P4).

5. Sprinkle a layer of shredded coconut stuffing on a board, then transfer the peanut mixture to the board(P5).

6. Pack the mixture down with a spatula or spoon (P6)

7. Let cool 15 minutes, then cut into 1-inch square pieces.
8. Serve.
