Barbecued Tofu Stir-fry Recipe

Barbecued Tofu Stir-fry Recipe:
When your brain wants tofu, but your heart wants barbecued meat, this easy barbecued tofu stir-fry recipe is for you. This dish is very light, but not lacking in great taste. 
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 5 minutes
 
Utensils:
Wok, bowl, plate.
 
Serves 2
Ingredients:
1 block firm tofu, about 7 oz./ 200g
5 oz. / 150g barbecued meat, cut into thin strips
1 stalk scallion, finely chopped
1/2 tbsp.cornstarch, mixed with 2 tbsp. water
ingredient of stir fried tofu
Seasonings:
2 tbsps.oyster sauce
1 tsp.sugar
1/4 tsp.white pepper
1 tsp. salt, or to taste
1/2 cup water
Directions:
1. In a bowl , soak the tofu with salted water 15 minutes ahead of time.
2. Drain the tofu well, then cut lengthways into halves, cut widthways into tens separately.
3. Heat 2 tbsps.vegetable oil in a wok, add tofu cubes back into it, lightly browned through.
4. Put the chopped scallion and barbecued meat back into the wok, stir into cornstarch/ water mixture and all the seasonings, reduce heat to medium, cook until the sauce thickens and reduced.
5. Place on a plate and serve.
