Pan Fried Chinese Dumpling Recipe

Pan Fried Chinese Dumpling Recipe:
This fried chinese dumpling features a crispy texture and meaty filling tastes. It is perfect for any party and works with a number of dips.
Prep time: 2 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
Utensils:
Non-stick skillet/wok, plate.
Makes 20-30 pan fried Chinese dumplings
Ingredients:
1 package Frozen Chinese dumplings, about 20-30 dumplings2-5 tbsps.vegetable oil5 cups water
Dipping Sauce, optional:
1tbsp.rice vinegar1tbsp.light soy sauce, low sodium1tsp.freshlt grated ginger root1 clove crushed garlic1tsp.ground black pepper
Directions:
1. Add 2-5 tbsps.vegetable oil to a non-stick skillet or wok, swirl the oil around to cover the surface evenly. Then heat on medium-high flame until hot, lay 10-16 frozen dumplings out on it and pan fry for 1 minute (P1).
P12. Pour into proper quantity of water to just cover half height of the dumplings (P2). Turn up to high heat, cover and cook for about 6-8 minutes.
P23. When the dumplings begin to sizzle, or until the water reduced (P3), turn off the heat, remove them to a plate, then chill 1-2 minutes. Serve immediately with dipping sauce if desired (P4&5).

Tips:
1. The dumplings will get browned, don't worry about that.
2. Don't move the dumplings while cooking.They are easily break.
3. Don't take the frozen dumplings out of the freezer too early before cooking, for they melt easily and becomes sticky when you cook.
