Salmon Mushroom Rice Recipe:
This satisfying, low-fat salmon mushroom rice is full of flavor, and very nutritious. You only need a couple of easy-to-get ingredients, then enjoy this heaven-made dish.
 
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 20 minutes
 
Utensils:
Saucepan, bowl.
 
Serves 1
 
Ingredients: (P1)
2 salmon steaks, cut into 1/2-inch thick, 1-inch long cubes
5 black mushrooms, cut into fingers
1 tbsp.chopped scallion
1 cup rice
1 cup water
1 tbsp.soy sauce
1 tbsp.Shao-Hsing rice wine, or dry sherry

Directions:

1. Place 1 cup rice in a saucepan with 1 cup water to cover, sprinkle with 1 tbsp.soy sauce and rice wine, scatter the mushroom strips over the rice, then top with the salmon cubes (P2).

2. Cook over medium heat until the rice is chewy.

3. Remove to a bowl, for an added touch, try garnishing with chopped scallion before serving (P3).
