Garlicky Crispy Spareribs Recipe:
The garlicky crispy spareribs recipe is great when you want something special for your dinner tonight. After 2 hours marinating, these spareribs are ready for the deep-frying. And you probably will need both hands to eat up these amazing spareribs as well.
Prep time: 2 hours marinating spareribs
Total time: 2.5 hours
 
Utensils:
Wok, big mixing bowl, plate.
 
Serves 2
 
Ingredients:
14 oz./400g spareribs, cut into 1-2 inches length
1/2 cup bread crumbs
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp.cornstarch
1 tbsp.light soy sauce
1 tbsp.white sugar
5 tbsps.vegetable oil for deep-frying
Directions:

1. In a big mixing bowl, combine spareribs with minced garlic cloves, 1 tbsp.cornstarch, 1 tbsp.light soy sauce, and 1 tbsp.white sugar, mix well and let them marinate for 2 hours or so (P1).

2. Coat the marinated spareribs lightly in the bread crumbs, shaking off any excess (P2).

3. Add oil in a wok, heat until shimmering on the bottom, but not yet smoking.

4. Add the spareribs, do not crowd the wok, deep fry over medium-high heat until cooked through and golden.

5. Drain thoroughly on kitchen papers and serve on a plate afterwards (P3).
