Lucky Fried Pork Recipe:

This is a western style chinese dish, with western shape and chinese flavour. The crisp fried skin and tender pork slice will impress you. You can buy the ingredients and marinade given below in any market of your city. If you are a freshman of chinese cooking, this is a good chance to achieve basic skill like cuting and frying.

Ingredients:

  •  21 oz./600g pork
  •  2 oz./50g bread crumbs
  •  1 beaten egg, whisked lightly
  •  Vegetable oil, as needed for deep frying

Marinade:

  • 4 tbsps.light soy sauce
  • Small quantity of garlic spread(you can use garlic crumbs instead if you dont have)
  • 4 tbsps.granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsps.cornstarch

Directions:

  1.  Rinse the pork, cut into thick slices according to P1.
  2.  In a bowl, combine the pork slices with the marinade, let marinate for 20 minutes (P2).
  3.  Coat the marinaded pork lightly with the whisked egg, then coat with bread crumbs evenly (P3).
  4.  Heat a wok with the oil and deep fry the pork slices for several minute over medium heat (P4). 
  5.  Remove them from the oil as soon as they are golden, drain well in a colander, serve on a plate, garnish with lemon wedges if desired.

 Tips:

You had better use long bamboo chopsticks when frying pork, for it's more secure and convenient
