Crispy Prawn Balls Recipe

Crispy Prawn Balls Recipe:
If you are a prawn lover, then you should know this new way to enjoy prawn, it is easy and works every time.
 
Prep time: 5 minutes
Total time: 15 minutes
 
Utensils:
Wok, colander, mixing bowl, kitchen paper, plate.
 
Serves 2 as a side dish
 
Ingredients: (P1)
14 oz./400g prawn, peeled, deveined
1 beaten egg, whisked lightly
2 tbsps.chopped scallion
2 tbsps.sesame seeds
1 tsp.salt, or to taste
1 tbsp.flour
5 tbsps.vegetable oil for deep-frying

Directions:

1. Chop the prawn meat into pieces, or place them in the bowl of an electric blender, blend until thick, then remove them to a big mixing bowl.

2. Combine them with 1 whisked egg, 2 tbsps.chopped scallion, 1 tbsp.flour, 1 tsp.salt, and 2 tbsps.sesame seeds, stir clockwise until thick and blended well.

3. Form the mixture into tiny balls of about 1-inch diameter, place on a plate for later use.

4. Heat 5 tbsps.vegetable oil in a wok over high heat until shimmering on the bottom, but not yet smoking, place the prawn balls into it, deep-fry over medium heat until heated through and golden (P2).

5. When cooked, drain well and dry thoroughly with paper towels, palce on a plate and serve immdiately, coat with your favorite sauce for a mouth-watering treat (P3).
