Juicy Trout Recipe:
This Juicy Trout Recipe is an easy, but impressive fish dish. After 30 minutes of marinate, the fish is ready for the cook, and the finished dish is fully flavored and juicy tasty.
 
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
 
Utensils:
Wok, mixing bowl, serving plate.
Serves 2
 
Ingredients:
1 trout, about 11oz.
1 bunch scallion, cut into 1-inch strips
1 tbsp.crushed garlic clove
2 tbsps.freshly grated ginger root
1 tbsp.light soy sauce
5 tbsps.vegetable oil
Seasonings:
1 tbsp.red pepper flakes
1 tbsp.ketchup
2 tbsps.chili paste
1 tbsp.ground cumin
2 tbsps.white sugar, or to taste
1 tbsp.salt, or to taste
Directions:
1. Before cooking, discard the scales, gills and the internal organs of the fish, rinse through running water and drain well, slash fish crosswise 4 times per side (P1), season bothsides with 1 tbsp.light soy sauce and 1 tbsp.salt, let marinate for about 30 minutes.

2. Top the fish with scallion strips (P2).

3. Making sauce by whisking grated ginger, 1 tbsp.crushed garlic clove, and all the seasonings in a bowl (P3).

4. Add 3-5 tbsps.vegetable oil in a wok, preheat on medium-high flame till hot, then cook the fish for 6 minutes per side, or until desired doneness is reached (P4).
 
Cook the fish for 6 minutes per side,or until desired doneness is reached.

5. Remove to a plate and spoon the sauce over the fish to glaze, let sit 3 minutes to absorb the flavors.
6. Serve hot (P5).
