Prawn Pancake Recipe

Prawn pancake is as comforting as it is simple, also a delicious way to break the boring prawn routine.
Wok, colander, mixing bowl, kitchen paper, plate.
14 oz./400g prawn, peeled, deveined7 oz./200g pork or beef1 raw egg white1 tbsp.ground black pepper2 tbsps.light soy sauce1 tbsp.salt, or to taste1 tbsp.sesame oil5 tbsps.vegetable oil
1. Chop both the prawn and pork into small pieces, then combine them together in a mixing bowl.
2. Stir into egg white, black pepper, light soy sauce, salt, and sesame oil, stir clockwise with the fork or chopsticks until sticky and the paste forms (P1).
P13. Form the paste into 2-3 pancakes.
4. Heat 5 tbsps.vegetable oil in a wok over high heat, when hot, place in the pamcake, sear over medium heat, turn and sear the other side when one side is cooked through and golden, do not brown (P2).
P25. Drain them well in a colander or on kitchen papers, serve hot (P3).
