Ingredients: (P1)
1 balsam pear, deseeded, cut into strips
12 shrimps, peeled, deveined
1 green pepper, cut into thin strips
1 tbsp.chopped scallion
1 tbsp.chopped coriander
1 tbsp.chili powder
1 tbsp.ground cumin
2 tbsps.vegetable oil

Directions:

1. Heat 2 tbsps.vegetable oil in a wok over high heat till hot, add scallion and balsam pear, cook over medium heat for 3 minutes, or until the balsam pear is nearly cooked (P2).

2. Sprinkle with 1 tbsp.chili powder and ground cumin, pour into 1/3 cup water, keep stirring for a while, then add shrimp, green pepper strips, and coriander back into the wok, stirring and tossing to mix everything together, about 3 minutes.

3. At the last minute of cooking, taste and adjust seasoning as desired, mix well and remove to a plate, serve hot (P3).
