Beef and Tomato Soup Recipe

Bring the love and magic of homemade beef and tomato soup into your home via your cooking with this simple and easy soup recipe.

3.5 oz./100g beef tenderloin, cut into thin strips2 tomatoes, peeled, cut into 1-inch cubes1 tbsp.chopped scallion1 tbsp.ketchup, or more as you like1 tbsp.white sugar1 tbsp.ground black pepper1 tsp.salt, or to taste1 tbsp.sesame oil1 tbsp.cornstarch, mixed with 4 tbsps.water in a bowl

1. Place beef strips in boiling water, parboil for 2-3 minutes, drain well and set aside.
2. Place a wok over medium-high heat, pour into cups water, swirl into 1 tbsp.ketchup and 1 tbsp.white sugar, put the tomato cubes and beef strips back into, bring them to a boil.
3. When boiling, reduce heat to low and let simmer for 5 minutes (P2).
P24. At last, stir the cornstarch-water mixture and swirl into the wok, stirring constantly until thicken.
5. Season with salt and ground black pepper as desired, sprinkle 1 tbsp.sesame oil and 1 tbsp.chopped scallion over them before serving.
6. Ladle into warmed bowls and serve hot (P3).
