Green Gram Balsam Pear Soup:
This Green Gram Balsam Pear Soup is an easy, but impressive dish.It is very light, bur not lacking in great taste.
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 2 hours
Utensils:
Pot, bow.
Makes 4 portions of Green Gram Balsam Pear Soup
Ingredients: (P1)
1 balsam pear, cut into bite-sized pieces, about 1-inch length
7oz.(200g) green gram / mung bean
3-5 tbsp.rock candy
5-10 cups water

Directions:
1. Put a large pot of water on to boil, add green gram, then balsam pear.(P2) Cook over high heat.
When boiling,add green gram,and then the diced balsam pear

2. When boiling, reduce heat to low, bring to a simmer over low heat for 2 hours.(P3)
Bring to simmer over low heat for 2 hours

3. When nears done, add rock candy.
4. Remove from the heat, dump into a bowl, serve hot or cold (P4).

Tips:
1. When You cook this soup during summer time, try to refrigerate for 30-60 minutes before serving.
