Asparagus and Meat Stir-fry Recipe

Asparagus and Meat Stir-fry Recipe:
Made with asparagus and meat, this is a quick and nutritious stir fry recipe for busy weeknights.

Wok, plate.

Ingredients: (P1)
7 oz./200g pork, cut into thin strips
7 oz./200g asparagus
2 slices ginger
2 garlic cloves
4 red hot chili peppers, seed, diced
1 tsp.Chinese rice wine, or dry sherry
1 tbsp.light soy sauce
1 tbsp.chicken essence
1 tsp.salt, or to taste
2 tbsps.vegetable oil for stir-frying

Directions:

1. Cut the asparagus into bite-sized cubes according to P2, then cut each into halves (P3).

2. Preheat a wok over medium-high heat for 30 seconds, then add oil and swirl around the surface, when the oil is hot, saute ginger and garlic cloves until atomatic, about 30 seconds, then put back the meat strips and cook over medium heat (P4).

3. Add asparagus and chili peppers back into the wok when the meat turns white, stirring, stir in all the other seasonings as you cook, toss gently to mix everything together.

4. Remove from the heat, serve on a plate (P5).
