Bean Sprouts Recipe

Serves 2
 
Ingredients:
3.5 oz./100g bean sprouts
1 red pepper, seeded, julienned
1 stalk scallion, julienned
1 tbsp.white rice vinegar, or to taste
1 tbsp.white sugar
1 tbsp.sesame oil
Directions:

1. Rinse the bean sprouts thoroughly through cold running water, then remove any wilted ones, combine with pinch of salt in a bowl, let sit for 5 minutes (P1).

Combine bean sprouts with pinch of salt in a bowl, let sit for 5 minutes

2. Before use, thoroughly rinse the salted bean sprouts under cold running water to remove any salt.

3. Gently combine bean sprouts, julienned red pepper, julienned scallion together in a plate, sprinkle white rice vinegar, white sugar and sesame oil over them, stir until combined (P2).

Combine all together

4. Serve (P3).
