Carrot and Meat Stir-fry Recipe:
Stir-fry carrot with meat – a carrot is cut into thin strips and stir fried with light soy sauce marinated pork, nutritious, tasty, and only takes a few seconds to make.

Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 5 minutes
 
Utensils:
Wok, mixing bowl, plate.
 
Serves 2 as a side dish or over steamed rice for a main meal.
 
Ingredients:
1-2 carrots, rinse well, cut into thin strips
3.5 oz./100g pork, cut into thin strips
1 tbsp.ground ginger
1 tbsp.light soy sauce
1 tbsp.cornstarch
1 tsp.salt,or to taste
2 tbsps.vegetable oil for stir-frying
Directions:

1. In a big mixing bowl, combine pork with ground ginger, light soy sauce, and cornstarch, mix well and let marinate for 10 minutes before cooking (P1).

Marinate the meat for 10 minutes before cooking

2. Preheat a wok on medium-high heat for at least 30 seconds before you add oil, then swirl the oil to coat the surface of the wok, add pork strips and stir fry for a while (P2).

Stir fry the meat over medium heat

3. Add carrot strips when the pork is nearly cooked, keep stirring over medium heat until the carrot soften, tossing occasionally (P3).

Toss them all

4. Salt when nears done, then remove from the wok, serve hot on a plate (P4).
