Juicy Mushroom Recipe

Juicy Mushroom Recipe:
The name says it all, this is a mushroom recipe for true mushroom lovers. This recipe is very light, but not lacking in great taste.
 
Prep time: 25 minutes
Cook time: 10 minutes
 
Utensils:
Wok, bowl, plate.
 
Serves 2
 
Ingredients:
1-2 cups dried black mushrooms
1 tbsp.light soy sauce
1 tbsp.granulated sugar
1 tsp.sesame oil
1-2 cups water
Directions:

1. Soak the dried black mushrooms in warm water for 20 minutes, remove the stems, strain through a sieve to remove any sand and dirt, squzzed out the excess water and cut into strips (P1).

2. Heat a wok, add 2 tbsps.vegetable oil and swirl to coat the surface, when the oil is hot, add the mushroom strips and stir fry over medium heat (P2).

3. When the mushroom turns brown, pour into 1-2 cups water that just covers the mushrooms, then lower heat so it simmers (P3).

Add water and simmer the mushrooms over low heat

4. Tossing once or twice while cook, turn off the heat when liquid is nearly reduced, sprinkle with 1 tsp.sesame oil before serving.

5. Serve on a plate (P4).
