Pan-fried Potato Strips Recipe:
In this new version of the traditional recipe, the potato strips are pan-fried instead of stir-fried, crispy and tasty.
 
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
 
Utensils:
Wok, plate.
 
Makes a main meal for 2
Ingredients:
2 potatoes, peeled
2 tbsps.chili powder
1 tsp.salt, or to taste
3-5 tbsps.vegetable oil for stir-frying
Directions:

1. Cut the potatoes into thin matchstick-sized strips, place on a plate (P1).

2. In a large wok over medium heat, saute potato strips with 1 tsp.salt until cooked through, about 1 minute (P2).

3. Gather all the potato strips together in the middle of the wok, swirl in 3-5 tbsps.vegetable oil over them, and let soak through the potato strips, then pan-fry them over medium heat, do not stir while cook (P3).

4. Press as you cook, turn and pan-fry the other side when the color turns golden-brown (P4).

5. Remove it from the wok to a plate, then sprinkle 2 tbsps.chili powder over it, serve hot (P5).
