Red Pepper with Meat Stir-fry Recipe:
Stir-fry red pepper and meat recipe – Nutritent loaded red pepper pairs nicely with meat and Chinese seasonings in this simple spring recipe.

Utensils:
Wok, bowl, plate.
 
Serves 2 as a side dish or over steamed rice for a main meal.
Ingredients:
3.5 oz./100g pork, cut into thin strips
1-2 red peppers, seed, cut into thin strips
2 tbsps.bean sauce
1 tbsp.light soy sauce
1 tbsp.cornstarch
1 tbsp.cumin powder
2 tbsps.vegetable oil for stir-frying
Directions:

1. In a mixing bowl, combine pork strips and 1 tbsp.cornstarch together, mix them well (P1).

2. Preheat a wok on medium heat for at least 30 seconds before you add oil, swirl the oil around the wok until hot, add pork strips and stir fry over medium heat until no pink shows, about 2 minutes (P2).

3. Stir into 2 tbsps.bean sauce and cook to mix well (P3).

4. Place the red pepper back into the wok in which it was cooked, swirl into 1 tbsp.light soy sauce and stirring until the pepper wilted (P4).

5. Sprinkle 1 tbsp.cumin powder over them as desired, cook briefly to mix everything together (P5).

6. Remove from the wok to a plate and serve immidiately (P6).
