Stir Fry Green Pepper With Meat Recipe:

This is a classic Chinese food recipe, which features a great combination of tangy green pepper and meaty pork, it is simple to master and very fast to make. 

 

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 5 minutes

 

Utensils:

Wok, plate.

 

Serves 2 as a side dish.

 

Ingredients: (P1)
2 green peppers, cut into thin strips
1 tbsp.chopped scallion
2 oz./60 g pork, cut into thin strips

Seasonings:
2 tbsps.vegetable oil
1 tbsp.light soy sauce
1 tsp.salt, or to taste
Directions:
1. In a wok, saute the scallion with 1-2 tbsps.vegetable oil until aromatic, add pork strips and 1 tbsp.light soy sauce, stir fry over high heat until the pork changes color and is nearly cooked through (P2).
Stir fry the meat

2. Add the green pepper strips, cook over medium heat for another 1 minute, or until tender (P3).
Add the green pepper,stir fry for 1 minute

3. Toss pinch of salt and MSG to taste, mix well and serve on a plate (P4).
